A beautifully located community hospital in southern Washington is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer. The CNO will play an integral role in the continued success of this well-respected critical access hospital. The Chief Nursing Officer will work collaboratively with the hospital CEO and Chief Financial Officer to ensure a patient-centric view on all patient-care and nursing related matters. Moreover, the Chief Nursing Officer will support this hospital’s goal of supporting their clinical nursing staff with continued careers growth, professional development and a world-class work environment. 

The Interim Chief Nursing Officer will be contracted through Clinical Management Consultants (CMC). CMC is a well-respected healthcare consulting firm with a national reach of clients and candidates. The CNO Consultant will be provided local housing, travel and benefits. The initial contract is for 13 weeks; however, many top nursing professional remain employed with Clinical Management Consultants for 6+ months.

This 25-bed non-profit hospital was recognized as a top performer in multiple patient care areas.  In addition, the Chief Nursing Officer will be proud to work at a hospital with one of the most advanced care teams in the area that is a designated Level IV Trauma Hospital. The clinical teams provide an Emergency Services Department, a Family Birthing Center; Physical, Occupational and Speech Rehabilitation Therapy Services, and Home Care Services providing both home health and hospice care needs. The critical access hospital will be part of a leadership team that also provides care in a larger community hospital to ensure patients have all services at their disposal.

The nursing staff provides comprehensive patient care with a complete suite of inpatient services at their disposal. The surgical services team works through technologically advanced operating rooms, the emergency department has updated patient bays and the adult psychiatric program is highly regarded in the community.
