As the senior nursing executive, the Director of Nursing will oversee standards of practice across inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and ambulatory services within a dynamic critical access hospital setting. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will collaborate closely with the medical executive committee, physician partners, and service line leadership while mentoring unit managers, charge nurses, and educators. The Nursing Director will champion evidence-based practice, regulatory readiness, accreditation standards, workforce planning, patient safety initiatives, and financial stewardship. Leaders are supported by robust system resources including data analytics, simulation training, protocolized order sets, continuing education support, and interdisciplinary collaboration with pharmacy, rehabilitation, social work, case management, and IT.
