Within Wound Care Services, the Wound Care Services Manager will guide a high-performing Wound Care Clinic—also known as the Wound Healing Center and Wound & Hyperbaric Unit—designed as an outpatient specialty clinic focused on advanced wound healing and hyperbaric medicine services; as the Wound Care Services Manager, this role advances comprehensive wound care pathways, coordinates complex case reviews, collaborates closely with podiatry, vascular, plastics, and infectious disease specialists, and ensures timely access to therapies like HBOT, advanced dressings, negative pressure wound therapy, and biologics to deliver consistently strong healing trajectories and patient experience.
Reporting to an Ambulatory and Specialty Services Director, the Wound Care Clinical Manager partners with medical directors and service line leaders while leading a friendly team of wound-certified nurses, hyperbaric technologists, advanced practice providers, and diverse allied health professionals; as a Wound Care Clinical Manager, daily responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, accreditation and safety readiness, clinical competency development, process improvement, throughput optimization, referral growth, EHR optimization, budget stewardship, and community outreach—supported by education resources, evidence-based order sets, and a collaborative, just-culture environment where every Wound Care Nurse Manager is heard and empowered.
