The Stroke Program Manager supports a well-known healthcare organization anchored by a designated stroke hospital with 500+ beds and a comprehensive suite of neuroscience services. This Stroke Program Manager partners with teams leveraging world-class resources such as 24/7 neurointerventional coverage, a dedicated neuro-ICU, rapid advanced imaging, peri-procedural stroke pathways, and robust telestroke capabilities. As a Stroke Services Program Manager, the role intersects with acute ischemic stroke care, hemorrhagic management, thrombectomy readiness, secondary prevention, and post-acute transitions. The Stroke Program Manager also champions seamless coordination across emergency, inpatient, and ambulatory settings to ensure consistent, high-quality cerebrovascular care across the continuum.
Reporting to the Nurse Director of Neurosciences, the Stroke Program Manager leads day-to-day operations of a system-wide stroke program from a central program office while traveling frequently to multiple stroke centers for onsite collaboration and support. The Stroke Program Manager drives alignment with national stroke certification standards (e.g., The Joint Commission/DNV), promotes evidence-based guidelines, advances quality management and performance measures, mentors hospital-based Stroke Coordinators, and supports research, outreach, and certifications across the network. This leader is supported by friendly nurses, engaged physicians, data analysts, educators, and a diverse professional team committed to continuous learning and patient-centered care.
