The Sterile Processing Department Manager will lead Central Sterile Processing within a medium-sized facility, full-service acute care hospital, and will have the opportunity to guide Sterile Processing Services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility. The hospital’s new facility opened recently and supports a broad range of surgical and specialty services, including trauma, cardiovascular care, women’s services, and complex surgical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sterile Processing leader to make a meaningful operational impact while working in a highly respected healthcare environment in beautiful Northern California.
The Manager of SPD will report to a Director that oversee's perioperative and clinical operations and will receive support from experienced department supervisors, sterile processing technicians, educators, infection prevention specialists, and quality partners. The Sterile Processing Services Manager will be responsible for daily operations, staffing, productivity, regulatory readiness, instrument flow, decontamination, sterilization, inventory coordination, performance improvement, and collaboration with the operating room. Friendly nurses, skilled surgeons, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals will partner closely with the Manager of Sterile Processing to promote safe, efficient, and dependable procedural care.
