Within Perioperative Services, the Senior Surgical Services RN Director leads an integrated surgical department spanning the operating rooms, procedural suites, pre-op, PACU, sterile processing, and ambulatory surgery, anchored by broad and expanding service lines including cardiac care, bariatrics, and sleep medicine. Ongoing investments in facility modernization, capital improvements, and outpatient expansion, together with integration into a top-ranked academic health system, provide access to best practices, resources, and advanced technology.
The Senior Surgical Services RN Director reports to a senior nursing executive with strong partnerships across anesthesia, surgery, and perioperative business operations. The Director is supported by engaged nurse managers, clinical educators, lead charge RNs, data/throughput analysts, sterile processing leadership, and scheduling/block optimization experts to advance quality, safety, access, and experience.
