Senior Mammography Technologist

Senior Mammography Technologist will lead daily breast imaging operations in a high-volume women’s health and breast center, performing high-quality 2D/3D digital mammography (tomosynthesis), diagnostic views, and assisting with stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include verifying orders and clinical history, educating and positioning patients for optimal imaging, applying radiation safety and dose optimization, performing daily quality control and equipment performance checks, troubleshooting imaging systems, ensuring MQSA and ACR accreditation compliance, maintaining accurate documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR, collaborating with radiologists on image quality and urgent findings, mentoring and training technologists, coordinating workflow and room readiness, supporting infection prevention, and driving process improvements that enhance patient throughput and experience.

What's Needed to Succeed: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT registered with advanced qualifications in Mammography
  • Prior leadership or precepting experience
