This award-winning medical center in Eastern Arizona is seeking an experienced RNFA to join its collaborative surgical services team. The RNFA will report to the Director of Surgical Services and work closely with an experienced team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative nurses. This position also partners with PACU and Cath Lab teams to ensure smooth transitions of care and seamless coordination throughout the surgical process.

Within the surgery department, the RNFA will be part of a well-organized team that supports four inpatient operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, a hybrid room, and a Cath Lab, plus an outpatient surgery center equipped with four additional ORs. The environment is energetic, highly skilled, and focused on teamwork, with surgeons who value collaboration and nursing leadership that promotes professional growth.

As an RNFA, this individual will assist surgeons during operative procedures by providing exposure, hemostasis, and other technical support functions to ensure safe and efficient outcomes. The role includes preparing the OR, verifying instruments, positioning patients, handling sutures, applying dressings, and collaborating on patient transport and recovery. Beyond the clinical side, the RNFA will help maintain a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence in every aspect of patient care.
