Reporting to an Oncology Nurse Manager and collaborating closely with a Charge Nurse and Oncology Service Line Director, an RN Oncology receives robust clinical support from oncology pharmacists, specialist consults, and seasoned preceptors, while leading responsibilities that include safe administration of complex regimens, symptom management, central line care, rapid response readiness, survivorship education, care coordination with case management and social work, and participation in quality improvement and shared governance alongside friendly nurses and a diverse, interdisciplinary team.
