Reporting to Maternal Child Health leadership, the Perinatal Clinical Educator collaborates across Labor and Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics, Quality, Risk, and Infection Prevention; delivers targeted in-services; develops annual competencies; orients new hires; writes and updates newborn/perinatal policies; tracks compliance; and advances safety and patient-experience initiatives.
Individuals earning quick interviews include those with an active North Carolina RN license, BLS, and over five years in Maternal Child Health/NICU/Pediatrics; an advanced nursing degree and specialty credentials in perinatal care and education are preferred.
