The Palliative Care Coordinator will develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians & other hospital staff and will report to the Vice President of Spiritual Care. They will also oversee the Palliative Care program and be working primarily with Emergency Room patients. These patients typically have serious, chronic or life-limiting illnesses.

The Palliative Care Coordinator will plan, develop, implement and evaluate the program as they provide support to patients and their families during the duration of the hospital stay. Having recent medical surgical or oncology experience will aid the Palliative Care Coordinator in developing palliative care plans.
