In the Audiology and hearing–balance service line, the Outpatient Audiologist will deliver comprehensive outpatient diagnostics and treatment—supported by CMS 4-Star Hospital for quality performance, Leapfrog “A” Safety Grade recognizing strong patient safety outcomes, Joint Commission accredited, meeting national quality and safety standards, Advanced Primary Stroke Center certification for rapid, high-quality stroke care, part of a stable nonprofit rural health system with strong community roots, and strong patient experience and teamwork culture, with close-knit interdisciplinary collaboration that helps the Outpatient Audiologist drive consistent, patient-centered results.
Reporting within a collaborative rehabilitation and ENT framework, the Outpatient Audiologist will be supported by friendly staff including otolaryngologists, APPs, SLPs, vestibular-trained PTs, and case management. In this role, the Outpatient Audiologist balances consults with ambulatory diagnostics, guides hearing and implantable device candidacy, contributes to protocols and outcomes dashboards, educates patients and families, and partners with a diverse healthcare professional team to streamline care transitions and elevate quality and safety.
