Reporting to a seasoned Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, the Nursing Manager Mother Baby will be supported by charge RNs, educators, and a data-savvy quality partner; responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, clinical coaching and precepting, policy compliance, budget stewardship, quality and safety initiatives (falls, HAI prevention, perinatal core measures), maternal-newborn education planning, patient experience rounding, and physician partnership, all while cultivating friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team who thrive in a Just Culture and contribute ideas through councils and frontline-driven improvement.
