The Operating Room and Endoscopy Department is a fast-paced environment averaging approximately 40 cases per day. Core service lines include high-volume endoscopy, total joint procedures, integrated cath lab services, and interventional radiology. The department also maintains close coordination with an advanced open-heart program, and other general surgeries. This setting supports the Nurse Manager Surgical Services in leading efficient operations, precise surgical scheduling, and exceptional same-day recovery experiences.

In this leadership role, the Perioperative Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Nursing Surgical Services and leads a collaborative team of nurses. The department includes surgeons, anesthesia providers, technologists, and imaging specialists working together in a fast-paced surgical environment. The Operating Room RN Manager mentors and precepts staff while holding the team accountable to clinical and service standards and aligning competencies with the day-to-day case mix. The role also focuses on optimizing productivity and staffing, advancing regulatory readiness, streamlining supply and instrument flow, fostering surgeon and anesthesia collaboration, and promoting a culture of safety, inclusivity, and professional excellence.
