Within Surgical Services, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will lead a dynamic perioperative program encompassing 24 operating suites and more than 12,500 adult surgical cases each year. The OR supports complex general, bariatric, orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, thoracic, and cancer procedures, creating daily opportunities to engage with diverse specialties and high-acuity cases. An advanced robotic-assisted surgery program features da Vinci SP, Xi, and DV5 platforms, using technology to enhance precision and workflow while preserving the judgment of experienced perioperative clinicians. The RN Manager of Surgical Services will provide leadership for approximately 160 caregivers, supported by six Associate Nurse Managers and a Surgical Services Supervisor. Day-to-day priorities will include clinical and operational oversight, staffing coordination, caregiver development, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, patient safety, performance management, and efficient use of operating room resources. Working in partnership with senior hospital leadership and perioperative physicians, anesthesia professionals, nurses, surgical technologists, allied health professionals, pharmacists, and support teams, the RN Manager will help remove workflow barriers, maintain clear communication, and ensure that caregivers have the guidance needed to deliver safe, timely surgical care.
