Within the Quality Control and Quality & Regulatory Compliance service line, the Nurse Director Quality Assurance will guide performance improvement, regulatory readiness, and clinical excellence at a highly decorated 96-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital renowned for outperforming large regional medical centers in patient safety, clinical care quality, and individualized attention, leveraging modern analytics, quality registries, and benchmarking to hardwire best practices while nurturing a proactive safety culture and transparent reporting.

The Nurse Director Quality Control will report to a senior executive leader (such as the Chief Nursing Officer or Vice President of Quality), partner closely with the Chief Medical Officer and service-line leaders, and be supported by quality specialists, infection preventionists, data analysts, nurse educators, case management, pharmacy, and risk management; core responsibilities include enterprise-wide quality strategy, accreditation and survey readiness (Joint Commission/CMS/state), policy alignment with national guidelines, Lean Six Sigma/PDSA-driven improvement, HAI and readmission reduction, mortality and throughput optimization, RCA/FMEA facilitation, peer review support, clinician education, and clear outcomes dissemination—thriving alongside friendly nurses and a diverse, collaborative team of physicians, APPs, therapists, and allied professionals committed to Just Culture and continuous improvement.
