Within the perioperative services division, the Nurse Director Perioperative Services will lead a Surgical Services program that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services including Bariatrics, Colon & Rectal Surgery, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Podiatry, and Urology. Nursing Director Surgical Services role oversees 6 main OR suites with approximately 80 full-time equivalents (FTEs) across all surgical service areas including pre-op, intra-op, and post-anesthesia recovery.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Perioperative Services will have robust support including unit leaders, clinical educators, and business/analytics partners to drive access, quality, and growth. The Nursing Director Surgical Services will shape strategy, oversee daily operations, optimize block utilization, enhance surgeon and anesthesia collaboration, elevate patient experience, advance infection prevention, ensure regulatory readiness, mentor emerging leaders, and champion shared governance alongside friendly nurses and a diverse, interprofessional care team committed to excellence.
