The Nurse Director of Med Surg will oversee a dynamic Medical Surgical department supported by an Emergency Department with Trauma Room, Board Certified Physicians on Staff, New Construction, and State of the Art Equipment. The hospital’s clinical capabilities also include advanced medical imaging technology, a new patient tower, a new in-house wide-bore MRI, and new low dose CT machines, providing the Medical Surgical nursing team with modern resources for efficient diagnosis, coordinated treatment, and high-quality patient care.

Reporting to senior nursing and hospital leadership, the Director of Medical Surgical Nursing RN will receive strong executive support while leading daily operations, staffing, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, budgeting, patient safety, employee engagement, and professional development. This nursing leader will partner with friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to advance consistent clinical standards, improve workflows, encourage shared accountability, and maintain a positive environment for patients and staff.
