As a pivotal leader within Obstetric Services spanning labor and delivery, mother-baby, neonatal care, and NICU, the Nurse Director Labor Delivery and NICU will guide a modern birthing center anchored in a 240+ bed acute care hospital, featuring 23 private maternity suites, 10 NICU isolettes, and Level II NICU services that support families through high-acuity deliveries and specialized neonatal care.
The Nurse Director Birthing Services will report to a seasoned Chief Nursing Officer/VP of Patient Care Services and be supported by experienced Assistant Nurse Managers, clinical educators, lactation consultants, and perinatal quality specialists, leading friendly nurses and a diverse, interdisciplinary team that includes obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine, anesthesiology, neonatology, pediatrics, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, social work, and case management to drive staffing excellence, fiscal stewardship, zero-harm safety, perinatal quality bundles, patient experience, and continuous improvement across Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and the NICU.
