The Neurology Nurse Supervisor will report to a Nurse Manager with close collaboration alongside an engaged Director, clinical educators, and specialty physicians. In this leadership role, the Neurology Nurse Supervisor serves as the team leader for nights, coordinating education and competency, championing orientation and continuing development, designing patient and family education, and modeling clinical excellence at the bedside. Responsibilities include assessing and planning for diverse neuro patient needs, evaluating outcomes and revising plans, optimizing staffing and skill mix across the shift, facilitating interdisciplinary care, fostering a culture of inclusion and open communication, driving research and performance improvement, and supporting recruitment and retention through meaningful feedback and goal setting. Requirements include BSN, active NC RN licensure, and at least one year of RN experience.
