The Multispecialty Surgery Nurse Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of a multispecialty surgical clinic, including OR, pre-op, and PACU settings. Responsible for ensuring optimal staffing and scheduling to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and sterile processing departments to ensure readiness and adherence to AORN and ERAS protocols, enhancing infection prevention and patient safety. Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and performance metrics, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission/CMS standards. Engage with patients and families to improve experiences, managing resources and budgets to optimize surgical services delivery. Lead and mentor nursing staff, focusing on recruitment, training, and development, while driving initiatives that reduce surgical site infections and cancellations. Promote continuous improvement in surgical care quality, supporting the growth and success of the surgical department.

What's Needed to Succeed:

  • Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of New York or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Proven leadership experience in an ambulatory surgical setting
