In the heart of the clinical laboratory, a Clinical Laboratory Manager will find a collaborative medical laboratory that integrates chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, transfusion services, anatomic pathology, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing with advanced analyzers, robust middleware, and a clinician-friendly LIS; the unit operates within a 150+ bed acute care hospital, is Magnet designated, and has been awarded for patient safety and quality patient outcomes to ensure reliable, rapid diagnostics that clinicians trust.
The Medical Laboratory Manager will report to the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services in close partnership with the Pathology Medical Director, supported by experienced supervisors, leads, and an LIS/quality team, while collaborating daily with friendly nurses and a diverse, interprofessional care team to champion excellence in CAP/CLIA/TJC compliance, validation, proficiency testing, budgeting, staffing, process improvement, inventory optimization, vendor relations, instrumentation lifecycle management, and KPI-driven performance across the lab.
