This Surgery center offers Cardiology services ranging from Heart valve replacements, to Aortic Surgery for aneurysm's and dissections. The responsibilities of the Medical Group Administrator will vary, but they will have 50+ FTE's reporting up to them, while reporting directly up to the COO of the facility. This is a large role, as the ASC Administrator must be comfortable with directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff members of the facility. This role is in charge of daily operations of the entire facility while ensuring that the quality of patient care is up to standards from the minute they walk through the door until they leave. In the case of absence of the Administrator, one must appoint another staff member to take their place and hold all responsibility until their return. 

Being that this facility specialized in Cardiac services, the Medical Group Administrator must have previous experience in this realm of medicine, as well as 4+ years in a previous ASC position at an outpatient Surgery Center. Staying updated, and current with changes in the healthcare environment including reimbursement, legislative issues, and business law, is also extremely important for this incoming employee. All encouraged to apply, but the preferred qualifications of this opportunity may include; Bachelor's degree is Business Administration or Public Amininstration, 3+ years experience in a top administrative or management position in healthcare, as well as ability to work well with members of healthcare community (patients, physicians, etc.).
