In the Acute Rehab service line, the Manager Physical and Occupational Therapy will guide a tightly integrated continuum of PT, OT, and speech-language pathology—spanning complex inpatient rehabilitation and coordinated transitions of care—within a system distinguished as a 600+ bed non-profit health system in west Texas, supported by an exclusive Mayo Clinic Care Network membership, anchored by specialized regional trauma and heart care, and recognized as a massive, unified regional healthcare provider for West Texas; as the Manager Acute Rehab, this role advances evidence-based therapies, accelerates recovery for neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary populations, and champions teamwork that drives measurable functional gains and superb patient experience.

Reporting to a seasoned Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Manager Physical Therapy will lead PT/OT/SLP supervisors and therapy teams with robust administrative support, collaborative physician partnerships, and friendly nurses who value seamless, patient-centered workflows; the Manager Occupational Therapy will shape scheduling and staffing, optimize productivity and throughput, uphold accreditation readiness, standardize documentation and order sets, coach clinicians through competency ladders, and partner closely with case management on safe discharges; the Manager Speech Therapy will leverage interdisciplinary huddles, diverse healthcare professionals, and data-informed quality improvement to elevate outcomes, reduce length of stay, and ensure a cohesive patient journey from evaluation through community reintegration.
