The Manager Labor and Delivery will lead a dynamic 27-bed Labor and Delivery unit within a comprehensive Family Birth Center that also includes Postpartum and Mother-Baby services. This growing Women’s Services division is part of a trusted regional healthcare organization known for compassionate care, clinical excellence, and patient-centered service. The facility offers advanced specialty programs and a highly skilled team with a strong focus on innovation and community health. The department supports routine deliveries and higher-risk obstetric cases while prioritizing safety, family-centered care, and positive birth experiences. The Manager Labor and Delivery will help sustain quality metrics, improve patient satisfaction, and advance maternal-child health outcomes across the continuum of care.

Reporting to Director of Women's Services, the Manager Labor and Delivery will oversee approximately 100 staff while providing operational leadership, fiscal management, strategic planning, and guidance for quality improvement. Support will come from charge nurses, experienced RNs, lactation consultants, and educators. The unit also works closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, pediatric providers, and surgical staff. The Manager Labor and Delivery will mentor a friendly and highly skilled nursing team while promoting a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive culture. Responsibilities include optimizing staffing, maintaining regulatory compliance, leading performance improvement initiatives, and advancing evidence-based maternity practices that support safe and compassionate care.
