Within Quality and Risk Management, the Nursing Quality Improvement Director will help advance performance improvement, regulatory readiness, patient safety, risk reduction, infection prevention, and quality outcomes at an urban facility and non-profit community hospital. This leader will use quality metrics, dashboards, benchmarking, audits, root-cause analysis, and best-practice standards to identify trends, implement sustainable solutions, and foster a Just Culture centered on learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Nursing Quality Improvement Director will report to senior hospital leadership and receive support from engaged clinical, operational, and administrative partners. Responsibilities will include guiding nursing quality initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators, supporting accreditation and regulatory compliance, coordinating corrective action plans, educating staff, and partnering with friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, case managers, therapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals.
