The Maternity RN will practice within a small community hospital that also serves as a Level II trauma facility. This close-knit setting combines personalized care with the clinical resources needed to support mothers, newborns, and families. The Maternity Nurse will assist with labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum care, newborn stabilization, and patient education. The Obstetrics Nurse will work with updated equipment and established protocols designed to promote safe, efficient, and family-focused outcomes.

The Labor and Delivery RN will report to experienced nursing leadership and receive support from approachable clinical supervisors. Responsibilities include assessing maternal and fetal status, coordinating individualized care plans, administering medications, assisting during deliveries, and responding to obstetric emergencies. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will collaborate with friendly registered nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and other diverse healthcare professionals. The Obstetrics Nurse will contribute clinical expertise, clear communication, and compassionate guidance throughout every stage of the childbirth experience.
