Within the Quality Management and Performance Improvement department, the Director of Quality Management will guide quality management, performance improvement, patient safety, and QM initiatives across the hospital. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to shape hospital-wide quality, patient safety, risk, and regulatory programs. The Director works closely with hospital and medical staff leadership while leading meaningful improvements in patient care. The position will use data, benchmarking, root-cause analysis, regulatory standards, and evidence-based strategies to strengthen outcomes, reduce risk, and foster a transparent culture of safety.
The Director of Quality and Risk Management will report to senior hospital leadership and receive support from engaged executives, medical staff leaders, department managers, friendly nurses, and a diverse healthcare professional team. Responsibilities include overseeing quality and patient safety programs, coordinating accreditation and regulatory readiness, advancing performance improvement projects, monitoring clinical indicators, supporting risk management activities, preparing reports for leadership and governing committees, and coaching teams in sustainable process improvement.
