The Birth Center Nurse Manager will lead women’s services within a leading healthcare organization’s approximately 300-bed acute care hospital. The facility provides emergency care, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and acute rehabilitation. The Women’s Services Nurse Manager will oversee care supported by around-the-clock on-site obstetric, anesthesia, neonatal, and lactation resources. A state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit features advanced monitoring technology, private family centered spaces, specialized infant security, and highly trained neonatal professionals. This Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery opportunity offers the resources required to advance safe deliveries, family bonding, breastfeeding support, and exceptional maternal-newborn outcomes.

The Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery reports to the LD RN Director, while receiving support from friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, administrators, and healthcare professionals. With 24-hour accountability, the Birth Center Nurse Manager coordinates staffing, delegates patient care, manages human and material resources, and promotes professional nursing practice throughout each patient’s hospitalization. This Women’s Services Nurse Manager collaborates across disciplines to improve processes, evaluate outcomes, maintain standards of care, and ensure services consistently exceed patient and family expectations. Qualified candidates will hold a BSN and bring at least three years of acute care RN experience and one year of management experience.
