The Obstetrics RN Nurse Manager will join a nationally recognized healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population and a wide range of complex obstetric needs. This organization is deeply committed to patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, health equity, and professional nursing practice, while providing clinicians with exposure to high-acuity cases and opportunities to grow alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, educators, and clinical specialists.
The Obstetrics RN Nurse Manager will oversee a robust Labor and Delivery, OB Emergency Department, Birth Center, and Perinatal Services environment featuring approximately 25 labor beds and approximately 550–600 births each month. The manager will coach and develop nurses across all shifts, participate in staffing and recruitment, support retention initiatives, monitor patient-care standards, address performance concerns, and collaborate with the CNS and Perinatal Educator on education and evidence-based practice. The position also plays an important role in quality improvement, including continued focus on NTSV metrics, and will help sustain initiatives such as TEAMBirth, Doula, and Cultural Navigator programs. The team is described as collaborative and engaged, with friendly nurses and a diverse group of healthcare professionals working together across Labor and Delivery and Women & Children’s leadership.
