The Clinical Physical Therapist will become an integral member of the Physical Therapy and Rehab team at a hospital that is a 25-bed acute care facility that functions as a critical access provider in northern Maine. This setting offers the variety and autonomy of rural rehabilitation practice, including opportunities to assess mobility, develop individualized treatment plans, support safe discharge planning, educate patients and families, and help patients regain strength, function, and confidence.

Reporting to rehabilitation leadership, the Inpatient Physical Therapist will receive support from experienced clinical leaders, friendly nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, occupational therapy professionals, and a diverse healthcare team. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, delivering evidence-based treatment, documenting patient progress, coordinating transitions of care, promoting fall prevention, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
