The Perioperative and Procedural Services Nurse Director will oversee a dynamic operating room and surgical services program at a Level II Trauma Center with more than 10 operating rooms, including dedicated heart, neurosurgery, and orthopedic trauma ORs. This advanced perioperative services environment supports scheduled and emergency procedures across complex specialties, giving the Perioperative and Procedural Services Nurse Director a meaningful opportunity to strengthen surgical quality, safety, throughput, capacity, and the patient experience throughout the Surgical Department.

Reporting to senior executive leadership, the Nurse Operating Room Director will receive support from experienced clinical and operational leaders while partnering with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, nurse managers, educators, technicians, quality specialists, and other healthcare professionals. The RN Operating Room Director will provide strategic and operational oversight for staffing, budgets, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, infection prevention, employee engagement, resource utilization, service-line development, and surgical outcomes.
