Reporting to the VP, Compensation, Benefits & HRIS, the Hospital Director of Benefits partners with the Director of Compensation and Manager of HRIS to architect an integrated Total Rewards roadmap; lead a high-performing Benefits team; oversee consultants, brokers, actuaries, and trustees; ensure compliant design and administration across health and welfare, pension, 401(k)/403(b), non-qualified, life/AD&D, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and wellness; drive ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA compliance; advance HRIS-enabled automation and self-service; and build ROI dashboards. Candidates most likely to secure quick interviews will have a Bachelors degree in Business, HR Management, or related discipline, along with healthcare-specific employee benefits experience, including exposure to alternative health plans and value-based care programs, has experience leading benefits strategy; also someone who brings proven leadership in benefits strategy and who is well-versed in retirement plan management, including 401(k) and pension plans. This requires relocation to Houston, TX.
