For an Operating Room Nurse Manager committed to delivering exceptional perioperative services, the surgical program serves as a regional destination for advanced specialties including surgery, stroke care, neuroscience, orthopedics, oncology, and cardiovascular services. The Nurse Manager, Operating Room will help oversee a department featuring 15+ operating rooms and more than 10,000 annual procedures across specialties such as bariatrics, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, neurological, plastics, and additional complex surgical services. Reporting to a Director of Perioperative/Surgical Services and partnering with anesthesia providers, surgical service line leaders, and sterile processing teams, the Manager Surgical Services will oversee daily OR operations, case scheduling and block utilization, workforce planning and recruitment, financial management, surgeon partnerships, clinical education, regulatory preparedness, infection prevention initiatives, and ongoing quality improvement efforts. With support from clinical educators, service coordinators, and business intelligence resources, the Surgery Manager will lead a skilled nursing and interdisciplinary team—building a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement where an Acute Care Surgery Manager can make a measurable impact.
