In this Computed Tomography environment, you’ll join a tight-knit CT Imaging team within Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology that balances ED, inpatient, and outpatient work typical of a rural access setting; the facility’s modern imaging services support bread-and-butter CT exams (neuro, chest, abdomen/pelvis, spine) as well as contrast-enhanced and trauma add-ons, with pragmatic protocols, efficient coordination through PACS/RIS, and a day-to-day rhythm that rewards sound judgment, communication, and steady hands under pressure; as an Interim CT Technologist or Travel CT Technologist, you’ll find the pace varies with the season and community needs, and the team structure makes it straightforward to collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and the ED—keeping throughput smooth while maintaining safety and image quality standards for patients from across the region.

Life in Eastern Montana offers the kind of balance many clinicians want: wide-open skies, quiet roads, short commutes, and a close-knit community feel; outdoor recreation is a real perk here—think fishing and kayaking on prairie rivers and reservoirs, hiking badlands-style terrain, hunting in season, and winter days that invite snow sports; housing is generally more attainable than in major metros, the cost of living is practical, schools are community-centered, and statewide no-sales-tax shopping keeps everyday expenses predictable; weekend drives open up new trails and small-town cafes, and the pace of life makes it easy to actually enjoy your time off.

The facility offers competitive compensation for interim professionals along with a comprehensive benefits approach aligned to assignment length, which commonly includes health insurance options, retirement plan access when eligible, paid time off for longer engagements, continuing education support, and professional development resources; additional travel or housing considerations may be available based on assignment specifics.
