CEO/Facility Administrator

Step into the CEO / Facility Administrator role at a high-performing ambulatory surgery center where a joint venture surgery center model, close-knit physician and executive leadership, full-spectrum operational oversight, a growth focused environment, relentless quality and patient safety, and ambulatory surgery excellence create the platform to make meaningful, measurable impact.

This opportunity is tailored for a healthcare leader who thrives in a collaborative, physician-partnered ASC setting and wants the runway to innovate while maintaining a steady, supportive foundation. The facility offers a stable leadership bench, strong clinical and business office teams, clear governance, and the kind of onboarding support that sets up a new leader to win. Expect real autonomy to shape operations, direct access to decision-makers, and a culture that values transparency, accountability, and respectful dialogue. Career development is an ongoing priority, with mentorship from seasoned executives and pathways to expand scope and influence over time.

In the Administration environment—spanning Executive Leadership, Operations, and ASC Administration—you will guide the day-to-day of a streamlined, patient-centered ambulatory surgery workflow. The CEO / Facility Administrator directs pre-op through PACU flow, block and case scheduling, preference standardization, supply chain and vendor strategy, and revenue cycle performance while ensuring regulatory readiness and clinical quality remain front and center. The setting is a physician-partnered, joint venture surgery center with primarily weekday operations, designed for efficiency without sacrificing safety or service. You will steward a culture of ambulatory surgery excellence by advancing high-reliability practices, continuous improvement, and service recovery that reflects the organization’s commitment to patients and surgeons. Operational oversight includes aligning staffing to volumes, supporting a highly skilled perioperative and business office team, and maintaining robust collaboration with anesthesia, sterile processing, and clinical leaders. The growth focused environment rewards data-driven decisions—optimizing block utilization, expanding service lines aligned to ASC capabilities, and refining patient access—while keeping quality and patient safety at the core. The role balances executive decision-making authority with hands-on leadership presence, giving you the autonomy to solve problems quickly, adjust workflow in real time, and champion initiatives that elevate outcomes and experience.

Reporting to a governing body reflective of the joint venture model, the CEO / Facility Administrator partners closely with the Medical Director, Director of Nursing, anesthesia leadership, advanced practice providers, perioperative managers, and business operations leaders. As an Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator (ASC Administrator), you will lead strategic planning, budget stewardship, capital prioritization, accreditation readiness, policy development, and risk mitigation. Collaboration is intentionally tight: surgeons have direct access to the Executive Office for rapid issue resolution, nursing and ancillary teams participate in regular huddles and performance reviews, and executive leadership remains accessible for guidance and barrier removal. The environment is high-expectation yet welcoming, where constructive feedback is normal, wins are recognized, and frontline input informs decisions. Experienced candidates who have served as a Facility Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer ASC will appreciate the clarity of scope, governance structure, and the latitude to execute.
