Within Hematology/Oncology, the Manager will drive day-to-day chemotherapy verification, sterile compounding per USP 797/800, optimization of oncology order sets and decision support, investigational drug services readiness, oncology and antimicrobial stewardship, and quality/safety metrics tied to accreditation and outcomes.

The Oncology Pharmacy Manager reports to the Director of Pharmacy and is supported by clinical specialists, informatics, supervisors, and pharmacy technicians while partnering closely with friendly oncology nurses, oncologists, hematologists, APPs, and case management. The Oncology Pharmacy Manager must hold a Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD), meet one of these backgrounds—PGY-1 plus PGY-2 (specialty or HSPAL), or PGY-1 plus about two years directly relevant experience, or approximately four years of pertinent experience—and be licensed as a pharmacist in Massachusetts by the start date. Experience with an advanced degree and prior leadership exposure is strongly preferred.
