CRNA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) / APRN – Oregon | Nurse Anesthetist Career in the Pacific Northwest

Ready to take your anesthesia career to the next level in a place that blends outdoor adventure with top-tier clinical practice? Join us in Oregon as a full-time CRNA and bring your expertise—and your energy—to a warm, high-performing team that puts patients first. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: the autonomy to practice at the top of your license and the camaraderie of close collaboration with surgeons, obstetricians, anesthesiologists (as applicable), nurses, and allied health pros. If you’re searching for CRNA jobs in Oregon, nurse anesthetist jobs in Portland, or anesthesia careers across the Pacific Northwest, this role checks every box.

In this position, you’ll care for people of all ages and backgrounds across the full perioperative journey—from pre-op planning to smooth intra-op management and comfortable, safe recoveries. Your day might include caring for patients in hospital operating rooms, labor and delivery, endoscopy, interventional radiology, the cath lab, and ambulatory or office-based settings. It’s broad, meaningful, and never boring.

What you’ll do is straightforward and impactful: meet patients where they are, create personalized anesthesia plans, and deliver safe, effective care. You’ll provide general anesthesia and sedation, as well as regional techniques like spinals, epidurals, and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks. You’ll manage airways confidently, keep patients stable and comfortable, and support labor analgesia and obstetric anesthesia when needed. You’ll champion multimodal strategies for pain relief, help patients wake up smoothly, communicate clearly during handoffs, and address common post-op issues like pain and nausea with confidence. Should an emergency arise, you’ll be the calm in the storm.

What makes this opportunity special is the culture. You’ll practice at the top of your license with strong teamwork, evidence-informed decision-making, and a shared commitment to quality, safety, and outstanding outcomes. If you enjoy teaching, precepting, or lending your voice to protocols and quality projects, you’ll find plenty of room to grow—and to lead. It’s an excellent fit for CRNAs who want a supportive environment with real impact.

We’re looking for a CRNA who is currently certified by the NBCRNA, or a near-graduate eligible by start date, with active and unrestricted Oregon RN and CRNA (APRN) licenses and insurability per state and facility requirements. BLS and ACLS are required; PALS and NRP are a plus and may be needed based on assignment. We value experience in regional and obstetric anesthesia, eligibility for Oregon prescriptive authority and DEA registration, EHR proficiency, and top-notch communication. Most of all, bring a patient-first mindset, cultural humility, and a passion for continuous learning.

This is a full-time role with variable shifts based on clinical needs. Participation in call, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays may be part of the schedule, and occasional travel between service sites may occur. The work is active and hands-on—expect plenty of time on your feet, with safe techniques for lifting and positioning. You’ll have the PPE and support you need, along with clear infection prevention and medication safety protocols.

We offer competitive CRNA compensation in Oregon and a comprehensive benefits package aligned with your experience and credentials. Just as important, you’ll gain a collaborative, growth-oriented home base where innovation in perioperative services and pain management is part of everyday practice—and where your voice truly matters.
