Role, team, and support. The Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Professional Practice and partner closely with the Emergency Department and ICU Nurse Managers, collaborating with a friendly, highly engaged, and diverse interprofessional team of nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, rehabilitation specialists, and case management to design onboarding pathways, validate competencies, lead sepsis, stroke, STEMI, and trauma-readiness education, champion resuscitation training, coach preceptors, advance clinical pathways, analyze quality metrics, and sustain a culture of safety with strong executive sponsorship and readily available resources.
