The Nurse Manager of Wound Care will report to a senior nursing director within the hospital and will be supported by certified wound-ostomy nurses (WOCN/CWOCN), hyperbaric technologists, nurse educators, and care coordinators in partnership with a friendly team of bedside nurses and a diverse group of physicians and allied health professionals. The Nurse Manager of Wound Care will oversee inpatient consult services and an expanding outpatient wound center, drive staffing and scheduling, steward budgets, ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness, standardize documentation, mentor and develop clinical staff, and lead performance improvement for pressure injury prevention, ostomy management, diabetic limb salvage, infection control, and patient experience across the continuum of care.
