In the Cardiovascular Operating Room, the CVOR Nurse will join a cardiac OR team handling complex open-heart, vascular, and thoracic cases in hybrid-capable suites with advanced imaging and precision tools. As a CVOR Nurse, typical responsibilities include circulating and, when trained, scrubbing for cardiac and major vascular procedures, championing sterile technique, driving on-time starts and safe turnovers, coordinating handoffs to CVICU, participating in on-call rotations, contributing to evidence-based practice projects, and mentoring peers within a welcoming, team-first culture.
