Reporting to a seasoned Nursing Director of Medical-Surgical Services, the MedSurg Nurse Manager will be supported by charge RNs, clinical educators, and unit-based councils while partnering closely with physicians, APPs, pharmacy, PT/OT, case management, and social work. The MedSurg Nurse Manager will lead staffing and scheduling strategies, throughput and capacity initiatives, quality and safety performance (falls, HAPI, HAI prevention), budgets and resource stewardship, accreditation readiness, and engagement programs across a team of friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional workforce that values inclusion, respect, and compassionate, relationship-based care.
