The Outpatient Nurse Manager will report to an Ambulatory Services Director or Chief Nursing Officer and collaborate closely with physician medical directors. This Nurse Manager Outpatient role is supported by assistant nurse managers, charge RNs, educators, and clinical coordinators to ensure strong coverage for staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and education. Typical responsibilities for the RN Outpatient Manager include operational leadership for multiple clinics, budget stewardship, accreditation readiness, policy development, infection prevention alignment, care standardization, patient flow optimization, triage oversight, and service recovery.
