Within the Women’s Center, the RN Director Women & Children will lead labor and delivery, mother-baby, and a special care nursery while leveraging a part of reputable health system with access to academic resources, best practices, and system-wide support; a major acute care hospital serving as a regional healthcare hub for eastern North Carolina; comprehensive service lines including emergency, cardiovascular, women’s health, and behavioral health; a mission-driven nonprofit focused on expanding access to care in rural and underserved communities; and a strong regional reputation with emphasis on quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Reporting to senior nursing leadership, the RN Director Women & Children will guide operations, staffing, competencies, fiscal stewardship, regulatory readiness, and experience initiatives—backed by educators, nurse managers, quality partners, case management, informatics, and HR—while nurturing friendly nurses and a diverse multidisciplinary team committed to collaboration and continuous improvement.
