The Case Management Department supports patients throughout the healthcare continuum, with responsibilities spanning case management, utilization management, care transitions, resource coordination, and regulatory compliance. The Interim RN Case Management Director will oversee these functions while helping ensure appropriate utilization of clinical and financial resources, timely transitions of care, insurance authorization processes, and adherence to Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance requirements. Experience with utilization review tools such as MCG or InterQual, EHR documentation, and interdisciplinary care coordination will be valuable in this role. The department operates within a 25-bed nonprofit community hospital, providing the Interim Nurse Director Case Management with an opportunity to have a direct and visible influence on operations.
