Reporting to Nursing Professional Development leadership, the RN Educator collaborates with the ICU Nurse Manager, clinical nurse specialists, physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rehab, case management, and social work to deliver needs assessments, data-driven gap analysis, orientation design, bedside coaching, simulation, preceptor development, and protocol optimization. Qualifications for the ICU Nurse Educator include a BSN, two years of nursing experience, active RN license (state or compact), and AHA BLS by the end of orientation.
