The Hospital Pharmacist will join an inpatient pharmacy team at an especially exciting time, with the opportunity to help open a new pharmacy floor within the hospital. This expanding hospital pharmacy operation supports multiple specialties, including trauma services, and offers a dynamic environment for candidates with inpatient pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, PGY1, or PGY2 experience. Guided by the core value of integrity, the Medical Pharmacist will help establish efficient workflows, promote medication safety, and contribute to high-quality pharmaceutical care across a large, multispecialty facility.
Reporting to pharmacy leadership, the Hospital Pharmacist will receive support from experienced pharmacy professionals, engaged clinical leaders, friendly nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and a diverse healthcare professional team. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders, monitoring therapies, supporting safe dispensing, collaborating on clinical recommendations, participating in medication reconciliation, and helping advance antimicrobial stewardship and quality initiatives.
