Within the Finance unit, the Controller will guide the hospital’s fiscal services—accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, revenue integrity, treasury, and decision support—optimizing daily operations and long-range strategy for a critical access environment that balances agility with rigor. The Controller will leverage cost accounting, cost reporting, payer contract analytics, and CMS compliance to protect margins while supporting access to care, all reinforced by a community feel that keeps the mission front and center. The Controller will also collaborate with supply chain, IT, case management, and service-line leadership to align the general ledger, ERP, and EHR data for clear, real-time performance insight.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Hospital Financial Controller will lead a capable accounting team with AP/AR, payroll, and grant-management support, while partnering closely with department directors and executive leadership. The Hospital Financial Controller will oversee month-end close, audit readiness, GAAP adherence, internal controls, and revenue cycle collaboration to strengthen denials prevention, charge capture, and cash flow.
