Within Finance, the Hospital Finance Director will oversee a broad and highly visible financial operation spanning accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, financial reporting, grants, patient access, financial counseling, and health information management. Reporting directly into senior hospital leadership, the Hospital Finance Director will serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, Leadership Team, department directors, medical staff, and Board of Trustees. The Director of Finance will provide oversight of the Finance function while collaborating closely with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Health Information Management, and operational leaders. Responsibilities include financial planning and forecasting, annual operating and capital budgets, monthly financial statements, cash management, investments, cost-based reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, payer analysis, audits, regulatory reporting, internal controls, financial modeling, and performance improvement. The Hospital Finance Director will also recruit, develop, coach, and support Finance team members while partnering with friendly nurses, physicians, and a diverse multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to delivering excellent care.
