Reporting to the Chief CRNA and partnering with the Anesthesiology Medical Director and attending anesthesiologists, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is supported by friendly nurses and a diverse interdisciplinary team; core responsibilities include inserting IV lines, placing arterial lines as needed, administering general anesthesia and IV sedation per the anesthesiologist’s plan, providing IV sedation in MRI, Cath Lab, and CT, and reviewing records to tailor care. Balanced by a schedule mix of 24 hours and two 8-hour shifts; requirements include an active state RN license, graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia, and current PALS, BLS/ACLS, and AANA certification.
